Lu Cong laughed bitterly, “Who else could it be? It was either my mother, someone from the Li Family, or a collaboration between the two.”

The thought of these people treating him like a fool and manipulating him, led to a surge of anger in Lu Cong’s chest. He clenched his fists so tightly they creaked.

After leaving the hospital, he intended to confront his mother directly. But halfway home, he regained his senses and gave up on the idea. Instead, he turned the car around and came to discuss matters with Mo Shiting.
