This issue was all too real. With the rate at which Elemental Creatures were reinforcing their ranks, it wouldn’t be long before the number of their Heaven Building Ladders overwhelmed them.

Right now, both sides were holding back, not engaging in an all-out war, simply because each had reasons to wait.

–The human side was waiting for more geniuses to advance onto the Heaven Connecting Road, or even to Ascend to Heaven Ladder heights, while Elemental Creatures were also waiting for more of their kind capable of building Heaven Building Ladders to be teleported over.

The problem was that cultivation couldn’t be hurried as it required one to progress step by step. But teleportation was different; as long as there was enough energy to operate the Teleportation Arrays, any number could be sent over.

Almighty figures like the Sword Emperor believed that no matter how strong the Elemental Creatures were, the number of those capable of building Heaven Building Ladders was finite, so they didn’t mind waiting and treated the war as a protracted war of attrition.

However, during their recent forays into the Elemental Cave, they discovered that the number of Heaven Building Ladder powerful beings amongst the Elemental Creatures was astonishing!

This revelation left them shocked and incredulous.

–The number of Heaven Building Ladder capable beings that a Celestial Body could cultivate was limited because the Cultivation Resources available were finite, only supporting a few individuals to reach the pinnacle.

How then did such a large number of Heaven Building Ladder powerful beings emerge among these Elemental Creatures?

There was no choice; they could not drag this out any longer. Otherwise, humanity would stand no chance.

But just then, the elder in green unexpectedly fell into a sleep and was granted a dream by an Immortal. Upon waking, he found a treasure beside him.

According to the Immortal’s instructions in the dream, it was an Immortal Artifact of immense power that could not only eradicate Elemental Creatures but also destroy teleportation gates, putting an end to the war once and for all.

And so, the gathering of the nine Almighties took place–they needed at least eight Heaven Building Ladder powerful beings to jointly activate the Immortal Artifact.

Although filled with doubt, the Divine Phoenix Furnace was now their only hope.

“Following the Immortal’s instructions, we’ll take it into the Elemental Cave, activate it, and all will be resolved.”

“Have everyone been notified to evacuate the Cave?”

“Everything is ready, we can begin.”

The nine Almighties entered the Elemental Cave with the Divine Phoenix Furnace and immediately began to activate the Immortal Artifact.

Upon activation, their auras could no longer be concealed, creating terrifying fluctuations that instantaneously spread throughout the entire cave.

He saw the originally indestructible crystal pillar instantly dissolve, with elemental creatures flying toward it from afar. But even as fire elemental creatures, how could they stand a chance? They were instantly caught up by the Fire Phoenix and turned to ash.

“This is bad, we’re gonna die!” cried the Purple Gold Rat, “I’ve just reincarnated, and I really don’t want to die again!”

Shi Hao snorted, “With me here, you won’t die so soon! If you don’t want to die, then don’t resist my soul encompassing you!”

There was no time for idle talk. He immediately opened his soul, enveloping the Purple Gold Rat, and then brought it into the Immortal Abode.

–Including himself, he also took refuge in it right away.

Boom, as the Fire Phoenix passed by, the Immortal Abode suddenly flew up, like a speck of dust, rolled toward the depths of the earthly grotto.

“But did an Almighty from the Immortal Realm intervene again to resolve this crisis?”

“Scram!” Shi Hao kicked the Purple Gold Rat away and then focused on the situation outside.

The Fire Phoenix was too terrifying, sweeping through everything in its path and burning all, and its speed was astonishing.

“A teleportation gateway!”

Shi Hao saw that they had been carried by the Fire Phoenix to the deepest part of the earthly grotto, where a giant teleportation gateway stood, swirling with a black halo, with a stream of elemental creatures continuously emerging from it.

But when the flames struck, unsurprisingly, the teleportation gateway immediately shattered.

“Not good!”

Shi Hao’s expression changed; as the teleportation gateway collapsed, it generated a terrifying force of attraction, pulling the Immortal Abode toward it.

This teleportation gateway was set up by an Immortal and led to the Immortal Realm. Was this going to send him directly to the Immortal Realm?
