Chapter 32: Original Sin

Cries of agony rang out non-stop. Qiao Lingxiang couldn’t hear them. More and more baseball bats landed on her body. If she didn’t die today, one of Cheng Tian’s men had to die.
Things felt amiss. The person who was bitten by Qiao Lingxiang was screaming louder than Qiao Lingxiang.
Cheng Tian and his lackeys beat Qiao Lingxiang more violently. They even scolded her as they hit her. Qiao Lingxiang still didn’t let go but the person she was scratching and biting already seemed lifeless.
Cheng Tian’s eyes turned red when he watched this scene. He clutched his baseball bat and whacked Qiao Lingxiang’s body furiously. He shouted angrily, “Are you a dog? Let go! Hurry up and let go!”
Blood flowed down Qiao Lingxiang’s forehead again. Her hands and mouth still didn’t release their grip even when blood smeared her entire face.
Qiao Yuelan was petrified. She didn’t know how to react. She could only freeze on the spot in a daze as she looked at her younger sister getting beaten by Qiu Chen and his gang until her head was covered with blood.
Cheng Tian didn’t know what to do anymore. Qiao Lingxiang was biting his man but he couldn’t save him. He turned abruptly and looked at Qiao Yuelan who was standing at the entrance of the staircase.
Qiao Yuelan screamed in fright. She was afraid that Cheng Tian would hit her so she quickly ran away.
“Damn it, everyone hates you. Even your older sister doesn’t care about you.”
Cheng Tian hit Qiao Lingxiang directly on the spine with his baseball bat.
Qiao Lingxiang’s head tilted back because of the hit. She lost sensation in her entire body.
She finally released the piece of meat in her mouth and the skin she was scratching. She slid to the floor weakly and started groaning with pain with her eyes open.
Cheng Tian kicked her a few more times as though he was kicking a dead pig.
He scolded her, “My brother got sent to the ICU after you beat him. You’re impressive, Dinosaur. Stupid pig!”
The other students saw Qiao Lingxiang lying on the ground and groaning motionlessly so they tried to stop Cheng Tian.
“Forget it, stop hitting her. She might die if you hit her anymore.”
“So what if she dies? Think about how badly Qiu Chen beat her. Did anyone care about her? I finally understand. Even if I kill someone today, no one will care. So what if I beat her to death? No one will pity her even if she dies.”
Cheng Tian cursed as he took out his phone and took a few photos of the half-dead Qiao Lingxiang who was covered in blood. He sent it to Qiu Chen’s family to show them that he had taken revenge for Qiu Chen. The school authorities didn’t care about Qiu Chen’s issue so Qiu Chen’s family could only use this method to address the hatred in their hearts.
