Both parties remained silent, and the atmosphere was awkward. At that moment, Fanxing quietly put the pencil back into her mouth as she chewed on it.

The crackling noise sounded again.

After Little Chief finished talking, she gave him the book.

She even asked, “Can we just eat one snake today and keep the rest?”

Qi He asked cautiously, “Will a bucket do?”

Fanxing shook her head, looking innocent. “The bucket is too small for them. The snakes won’t be happy.”

Qi He was speechless as he thought to himself, Have you wondered if they would be happy when you eat them?
