Donnie placed Helen’s call on the table and calmly said to William Howard Taft’s call, “Dad, regarding the dangers of radium products, Helen has already informed you. You should know that the bigger this matter gets, the more it will help Helen when the whole truth comes to light!”

William Howard Taft angrily said, “Don’t tell me this, do you know that you are now making enemies with all of America!”

Donnie still calmly replied, “The greater the risk, the greater the reward. I trust my judgment!”

William Howard Taft struggled to suppress his anger and asked, “Donnie, are you a medical professor?”

“No!”

“Then are you a chemistry professor?”

“No!”

“Since you’re neither, how can you be so sure about this?” Before this, William Howard Taft couldn’t have been more satisfied with Donnie.
