Xia Zhe seemed to remember something else. He opened his bag and took out a small box filled with ledgers.

“I found a very strange thing in their collection room. It looks like the detailed records of their transactions. It should be their butler who wrote all these. Take a look,” Xia Zhe said as he handed the box to Qiao Mei.

The ledgers recorded all kinds of miscellaneous things, big and small. “Why was it not a request to kill you? The person paid three million dollars just to keep you in Country M? They might as well give me the money!” Qiao Mei said as she looked at the ledger in disdain.
