It had been three days since he went missing. This morning’s phone call went straight to a turned-off notification, which made her increasingly worried.

“Alright.” Before having breakfast, Sang Qiao subconsciously glanced at her phone, still no messages from Si Chenli.

She planned to ask Shangguan Yuan to look into it later.

She had no interest in dealing with the unfinished work on her computer.

“Alright.” Sang Qiao didn’t insist. She sat in her office chair, her gaze falling on the transparent glass behind her, watching the relentless flow of vehicles and the towering skyscrapers.

She just quietly watched as time slowly passed by.

Mrs. Si had not called, and there was no news from Shangguan Yuan’s end either. After giving up her familial ties, this was the first time she felt so helpless.

She thought that once she stopped caring about the Sang Family, she wouldn’t experience any significant emotional fluctuations.

She had not anticipated that Si Chenli would go missing, especially on the second day of their marriage.
