Chapter 200: Chapter 200: Sang Jiao’s Instigation and Provocation

Sang Qiao held her phone, lost in thought. She was already beyond the age of looking forward to her family’s affections, and she cared even less now.

Mr. Sang Senior’s apology did not bring her any comfort; instead, it only made her feel uneasy.

Looking at the disconnected call, Sang Qiao first removed Sang Shen from the blacklist, then drafted a text message following her grandfather’s words and sent it to Sang Shen.

“Be sure to eat well, sleep on time, and take care of yourself.”

In the hospital

When Sang Shen woke up, he saw his grandfather and Third Brother sitting beside him. He hadn’t even had the chance to speak.

Mr. Sang Senior spoke first, sighing heavily, “Check your phone.”

“Take good care of yourself. It’s not just about asking Sang Qiao to forgive you. You can also protect her, help her silently when she needs you. If you were to die, what would you do if someone bullied her one day?”

Sang Qingran’s expression was complex as well. He had not expected his second brother to be so childish.

Harboring thoughts of self-destruction by ruining his body was useless. He feared that now, even if they died in front of Sang Qiao, she wouldn’t spare them a second glance.

Sang Shen was shocked and overjoyed the moment he saw the text message Sang Qiao sent him.

Sang Shen’s mind was in turmoil, fearing Qiaoqiao would mistake his actions as a ploy.

His fingers trembled as he typed on his phone, “Don’t listen to grandpa and Third Brother making stuff up. I haven’t been throwing my life away; I just accidentally fell ill.”

After the message was sent, Sang Shen felt his words were too weak, and he wanted to add more. “Really, I’m taking proper care of myself in the hospital, I…”

Sang Qingran, with his sharp eyes, caught sight of this. “If you want to be blocked again, keep pestering her.”

His words successfully made Sang Shen stop what he was doing and delete the text he was drafting. He cherished Sang Qiao’s message, pinning it to the top, not daring to send another.

Even though he said nothing, Mr. Sang Senior could see that his mood had clearly improved a lot from just a simple text message.

Sang Qingran stayed in the ward for a while then left. He unconsciously looked at his chat with Sang Qiao, where his previous few messages were marked with red exclamation points.

Even now, he was still lying in Sang Qiao’s blacklist.

Envying Sang Shen for being removed from the blacklist would be a lie, but he couldn’t bring himself to resort to such self-harming tactics.

If there were levels of hatred in Sang Qiao’s eyes, he imagined his would be the highest.

Thinking this, Sang Qingran’s heart ached unbearably. Everyone else could beg Sang Qiao for forgiveness, to make sacrifices for her, but he was the only one who could do nothing.

Sang Jiao, tormented by the Sang Family into neither human nor ghost, was on the brink of insanity. By chance, she passed by the Rose Entertainment building that day, and taking advantage of the “agent’s” inattention, she ran full speed into the building.

The bodyguards disguised as agents quickly grabbed Sang Jiao’s arm to pull her back.

But Sang Jiao had already clung desperately to Sang Qiao, who happened to be visiting the company.

She was dressed neatly and beautifully as she watched the disheveled Sang Jiao being taken away.

Sang Jiao suddenly couldn’t laugh anymore because Sang Qiao was too calm! How could anyone not harbor any hatred, not have the slightest desire to know the past?

He rushed towards Rose Entertainment without a second thought, but the security guards wouldn’t even let him in.

The security guards remained unmoved, their faces as sour as dung.
