Fang Yichu handed her a towel from the car.

She murmured her thanks as she took the towel and wiped herself unceremoniously.

Fang Yichu did not pay her any more attention and took out a fountain pen to write on his book instead. He held it out to the front. “Slow.”

The car slowed down, and it became quiet in the car. No one noticed that Fang Yichu’s lips had curved into a smile again.

“What’s going on?” Gu Cheng suddenly said. He looked at the convoy passing by and said in surprise. “A dozen cars appeared out of the blue. Is this a convoy?”

Gu Fan glanced at the cars. “It’s the Lu family’s cars. I recognize the license plates of a few of them.”

As soon as the words left his lips, the young lady in the backseat shrank into her seat. She sensed a sharp gaze from beside her and did not realize that Fang Yichu was probing her.
