“The wisdom and power of my lord,” Old Luwei of course defended Bailuo, “how could it be something you can imagine.”

“But he still uses such means, coveting all that I possess.”

“This statement is ridiculously funny.”

Old Luwei shook his head: “Didn’t you ask what my lord wants from you? What my master desires are all the living beings under your rule.”

“He wants Navia?”

“No.”

Old Luwei replied, “My lord wants those mortals you have forsaken.”

At this point, Ogysail had entirely figured out the cause and effect.

Bailuo attacked him to acquire talent; those people were already of no use to Ogysail. The select few who were valuable were all on the Navia Islands.

The rest could perhaps only produce a handful of worthy individuals every few decades. Among them, only a few qualify to live in Navia.

“Isn’t a war unnecessary if it’s just for these people?”

Ridiculously, Ogysail, who always liked to aggress and solve problems by force, now hoped that Bailuo would reason.
