Jiang Jinchen’s car stopped at the side of the road. He got out, making sure no one was tailing him, then strode towards the facility.

Without hesitating, he walked straight through the flower arches toward the innermost compartment.

“Mr. Jinchen, Sir is already inside waiting for you. Please come in.”

An attendant waiting by the door saw Jiang Jinchen and respectfully opened the door for him.

Inside, a man in Tang attire was already seated.

His resolute face exuding an air of military sternness.

“Greetings, Sir. I apologize for troubling you out of your busy schedule; it’s my fault.”

Jiang Jinchen was very respectful towards the middle-aged man, approaching and slightly bowing.

The middle-aged man patted his shoulder, a smile playing on his lips.

“Ning Yanan, Sir, have you heard this name before?”

“A young police superintendent who’s just cracked a major case, returning from undercover duty, she’s also your girl, isn’t she? I’ve heard about it; because of your marriage, the Jiang Family has been in an uproar. Look at what you’ve managed to achieve, kid!”

The middle-aged man placed an arm on Jiang Jinchen’s shoulder.

His tone held a hint of knowing joy, as if Jiang Jinchen had done something wonderful.

“I’ve come to see you, Sir, precisely about this matter.”

Jiang Jinchen’s eyes flickered as he spoke frankly.

“Do you want my help? If Jiang Haoyan finds out you came to me, he’d probably be so angry he couldn’t sleep, and he’d kick you out of the Jiang Family at once. No regrets?”
